  UX Program Manager
  180 - 365 day Contract Position
  31.00 - 38.00 Hourly DOE
  Redmond, WA

  A performance and event monitoring product delivers enterprise-class operations management by providing comprehensive event management, proactive monitoring and alerting, reporting, and trend analysis.

  A key theme for this team's upcoming releases is significant innovation in User Experience. To help with this initiative, they're looking for an experienced UX Program Manager to help design a world-class user experience for a complex IT product. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with all areas of the UX discipline - design strategy, design research, interaction design, and information architecture.

  UX Program Manager's Responsibilities include the following:

   

  • Rapidly create innovative designs and modify existing designs using UX guidelines, and usability and focus group findings
  • Produce wireframes, mockups, HTML / CSS prototypes and PPTs
  • Work closely with feature PMs, Usability Researchers, and UX Designers

  Required Skills for this UX Program Manager includes the following:

  • Experience designing with Winforms and Fireworks
  • Operations / IT Management experience
  • Strong Adobe CS skills especially Fireworks or Photoshop
  • Create design flows, wireframes, prototypes
  • Familiarity with iterative design process and user-centered design principles
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), especially Expression Blend and Silverlight would be a plus
