From Expense to Asset - Making Content Powerful
Document Actions
How to transform content into an asset instead of an expense, and how enhancing the importance of content in an organization drives true business value is the focus of this presentation. Managers and technical communicators increasingly need to show how the expense of creating content can be recovered through business and product revenue. Rather than looking at content as a cost center, we’ll explore ways of attaching value to content and making it into and asset that helps drive revenue. Discussion points include the right use of content, selling your position in the organization as something that has business value, identifying what kinds of content customers are willing to pay for, and how to combat the idea of content as only an expense.
