DigiPen Institute of Technology

DigiPen Institute of Technology, the leader in video game development education, presents a summer workshop series designed to introduce participants of all experience levels to the fundamentals of game programming, 3D computer animation and robotics. Held at the DigiPen campus in Redmond, Washington, the two-week workshops are also ideal for those considering a serious career as video game programmers, 3D artists or computer engineers. Now in its fourteenth year of offering the summer workshops, DigiPen is pleased to invite middle school and high school students to experience DigiPen training in a fun 2-week workshop. Ultimately, all of DigiPen's workshops are taught by knowledgeable instructors who strive not only to teach the relevant material but to also provide an engaging experience for all students involved!

A new local Adobe User's Group has been formed. Meeting will be held at the Adobe campus near Fremont. The group is designed to help users of all different levels learn more about their favorite program.

Vancouver Island University Technical Education Certificate Program

Vancouver Island University (formerly Malaspina University-College) is a publicly-funded university-college with its main campus in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, Canada.

Vancouver Island University offers a part-time non-credit certificate program in technical communication completely online. Delivered by technical communication professionals, the curriculum follows the guidelines of the Canadian InterestCommittee (1997) who were formed from STC professionals to determine just what a technical communication program should cover in terms of training.

The Publishing Institute at Bellevue Community College

The Publishing Institute at Bellevue Community College Continuing Education is designed to offer a focal point where writers, editors, graphic artists, and publishers can share information, encouragement, expertise, and resources. Classes and workshops will be offered each quarter. New topics will be added according to the needs and interests of the writing and publishing communities.
